Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how YDSTK LLC d/b/a Frank ("Frank," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use frankwith.me and app.frankwith.me (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Account information you provide: name, email address, company name, and a password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google instead.
Content you submit for analysis:
- URLs: when you scan a URL, we fetch the publicly available content of that page in order to analyze it.
- Documents: when you upload a document (e.g., a PDF), we extract its text for analysis. The uploaded file itself is never stored.
Analysis results: we store the results of your scans (scores, feedback, recommendations) so you can access your scan history. Results may include short excerpts of the scanned content.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details. We receive limited billing information from Stripe (such as subscription status).
Usage and analytics data: we automatically collect certain technical information, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, device and browser type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from IP address. IP addresses are also processed for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention. We use hosting-level analytics (Vercel) and may use analytics or advertising tags (such as Google Analytics or the LinkedIn Insight Tag) to understand how the Service is used and measure marketing effectiveness; non-essential tags load only with your cookie consent (see Section 9).
Support communications: if you contact us (by email or any in-app support channel we offer), we receive the contents of those messages.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to: provide and operate the Service (running scans, generating analyses, maintaining scan history); process subscriptions and payments; prevent abuse (including normalizing email addresses to enforce free-plan limits, and processing IP addresses for security and rate limiting); respond to support requests; improve the Service; send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing notices); and send marketing communications about the Service, including, but not limited to, product updates, launches, and feature upgrades, which you may opt out of at any time. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Automated Processing
To generate analyses, the text content of your scanned pages and documents is processed by Anthropic's Claude via API. Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, your content is not used to train Anthropic's models. Processing is automated; no human at Frank reads your submitted content in the ordinary course of providing the Service.
4. Service Providers
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the Service: for hosting, data storage and authentication, payment processing, content retrieval, automated analysis, email delivery, and bot protection. Our current service providers include: Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic, Firecrawl, Vercel, Resend, Google Workspace, and Cloudflare.
We may update this list as our providers change. Each provider processes data under its own security and privacy obligations.
5. Data Retention
- Account information: retained while your account is active.
- Scan results: retained until you delete the individual scan or your account.
- Cached results: to avoid re-processing identical content, we cache analysis results per user, matched by a one-way content fingerprint. Deleting a scan also removes its cached result. Uploaded files and extracted text are never retained; only analysis results are.
- Payment records: retained as required for tax and accounting purposes.
6. Deleting Your Data
You can delete individual scans at any time from your scan history. You can delete your entire account in settings, which removes your profile, scan history, and cached results, cancels any active subscription, and stops future billing. Deleting your account does not delete records we are legally required to keep (e.g., billing records held by Stripe).
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Contact hello@frankwith.me and we will respond to verified requests. Most of these actions are also available directly in your account settings.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the Service (authentication, security, session management). Non-essential cookies (analytics or marketing tags) load only if you accept them via our cookie banner, and you can change your choice anytime via the "Cookie preferences" link.
10. Children
The Service is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post updates with a new effective date and notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice.
